Swan Hill District Health sub-acute care services
The Victorian Government has invested $2.6 million to expand sub-acute care facilities at Swan Hill District Health, improving patient access to the rehabilitation and care they need to recover from a hospital stay, and live as independently as possible.
Funded via the Regional Health Infrastructure Fund, the expansion has delivered an additional 14 beds enabling Swan Hill District Health to provide general inpatient rehabilitation services, geriatric evaluation and management services, alongside transitional and palliative care beds.
The Victorian Government’s $350 million Regional Health Infrastructure Fund is the largest of its kind in Victorian history. It is rebuilding regional and rural hospitals to ensure Victorians can access the high-quality care and facilities they need, no matter where they live.
